MEMORIAL GRANITES
Our War Memorial Gardens offer families a meaningful way to honor a veteran loved one with a permanent, personalized engraved granite memorial. These flat granite stones are set into the ground and line the pathway leading to the memorial gardens — a place where visitors walk among the names and stories of those who served. Each stone is engraved to your specifications, from the text and layout to branch insignia, medals, and logos, and may be ordered in any size up to a full granite panel (24" wide × 30" tall). The sections below outline engraving guidelines, available sizes and pricing, and the simple steps to place your order.
-
All text is engraved in a single font using capital letters with no periods. Each line of text takes 1.5 vertical inches of space. A 1-foot-wide stone fits 24 characters (letters and spaces) per line.
-
Medal or logo artwork is typically included on memorials larger than 12×6 inches. Logos must be at least 4.5 inches square to retain their detail when engraved.
-
You must select one of the standard sizes listed below. Odd sizes may be available — ask us if none of the standard options fit your needs.
-
A full panel of granite measures 24" wide × 30" tall and is the largest available size. Smaller portions of the panel can be ordered — all standard sizes are sections of this full stone.
